‘It’s always a challenge when a party planner gives their own party. Expectations are high, and the logistical challenge is even higher when you live on a hill in the Black Mountains. Thank goodness for the phenomenal Lillingston team to help make it happen! Our Hooley on the Hill really was up a hill, with a glamping site, drinks and dinner stretch tents, and even a tabernacle chapel from Ireland to erect, all of which had to be brought up by fork lift. Throw in fabulous flowers, cocktails, roaring fires, bands and asado barbecued lamb (let alone donkeys in straw hats), and you have everyone’s party of a lifetime. By the end of the second day it seemed like the party was never going to end, and the thank you letters all made it clear people wished it never had!’
