A stunningly beautiful christening in amongst a field of Lavender
The Wall Garden at Cowdry
A beautifully illustrated invitation including a Bertie tree with all the names of the family, god parents and the parents god children on the branches
Every guest lit a candle for Bertie
“I have heard of a three day wedding but not a three day Christening!”
A natural open sided stretch tent in the middle of a lavender garden set the scene. Inside, the tables were herbaceous boarders built into sunken drift wood tables with an abundance of sweet pea tripods, mossed rabbits and terracotta pots filled with english country flowers. The name cards were kept elegant, with a hand written calligraphy card into an artichoke. The food was colourful and relaxed with waiters in white fresh nero jackets serving quails eggs as canapés from bird cages. The bar made from cases of favourite french wines, ensured that the champagne from Methuselah sized bottles was flowing.
A great hot jazz band and of course Sharky and George for the children!
